Cathy

Cathy has been a dental assistant for Dr. Swang since 1986. She received her assisting degree in Colorado in 1984 and is a Registered Dental Assistant. Cathy is a wonderful assistant who keeps the patient as her number one priority. She and her husband have two children and enjoy outdoor activities.

Sherry

Sherry is the friendly, bubbly voice who first greets the patient on the phone and then takes care of your administrative needs. She is a refreshing bundle of energy who keeps the whole office going. Sherry also became a Registered Dental Assistant in 2001 and is always ready to lend a hand wherever she is needed. She is a native of Roane County where she was employed by the Roane County Bank and then worked as the office manager of a dental practice before moving to Nashville. She and her husband live in Smyrna and enjoy travel and camping.

Julie

Julie received her Registered Dental Hygienist Degree from The University of Tennessee in 1985. She began working for Dr Swang part time in 1989 and full time in 1990. Julie’s care for the patient and attention to detail make her a valuable asset to the practice. She has worked in a pediatric dental practice and works well with children. She and her husband live in Nashville with their two children and enjoy family outings and trips to Gatlinburg.

Michelle

Michelle graduated from Tennessee State University Meharry College of Dentistry with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 1997. She came to Dr Swangs practice in 1999. She is a good communicator with a contagious smile. She and her husband have two children and live in Nashville

Elizabeth

Elizabeth is the newest member of the staff. She has brought a cheerfulness and good work ethic into our office. She will begin school to become a RDA soon. Her desire to learn makes her a valuable asset to our office. She and her two daughters live here in Nashville.

In addition, two dental hygienists work in the practice part time. Trina works two afternoons each week to add additional appointment times for patients. Trina is an excellent seamstress. She and her family live in Nashville. Diana works on Wednesdays. She received an excellent education in orthodontic evaluation and takes care of patients in Kentucky where her father is an orthodontist. She and her husband live in Nashville with their two daughters.
